For my first card I was excited to use the images and paper from our sponsors but I totally apologize to you and to them that my printer is on the blink. I've replaced all the ink so I think it's the printer heads, so I'm probably just going to get a new printer.  Well anyway I wanted you to see the great texture at least for this paper but really it is supposed to print a beautiful metallic gold color.  I did the best I could for how it printed. You really need to see what the other design team members made to appreciate this paper.  The image is Autumn Wagon from Miss Daisy's too - so cute.

Here's a link to the image and here's one for the paper

.

I made a few other cards for simple examples to encourage you to play along.  If you have questions please don't hesitate to leave a comment and I'll answer this week.

Now it's time for you to head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check out what our amazing Design Team has created an to play along.  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a NICE week!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #366

Whoopsy!  So sorry for the late post.  I completely forgot that I didn't finish this up last night.

I used Fall Loving Susie from Digital Delights by Looby Lou, our challenge sponsor this week.  You need to head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketch #366 to see what the rest of the design team created and to play along so you can maybe win some freebies from our sponsor.

I colored Fall Loving Susie the same colors as my granddaughter's little school uniform.  I think I got a little carried away with my sprinkle stamp on my second card but oh well...

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a WONDERFUL week!

Happy Sunday!! Mojo 461, Cupcake Inspirations 372, Color My Heart 207 & Color Throwdown 406

Thanks to a major answer to prayer I have been celebrating today!  I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday too :)

I've been meaning to make some card sets for a couple friends using the Verve Stamps set that I won a while back.  It has so many great verses and I really want to make a card using each one.  I've used this set plenty of times but not with the intension of using every verse, so I'm focusing on that.

What better challenge to enter than Mojo Monday since it was one of their challenges that I received the set I'm using.  For color inspiration I headed over to Color My Heart, Cupcake Inspirations and Color Throwdown.  So for me that means several cards.  I know some of you are absolute pros at combining tons of challenges into one card but when I get past two on one card my brain usually just fogs up on me.

We had birthday cake at work this week and I have such a sweet tooth that I could eat it every day so Cupcake Inspirations and even the Color Throwdown challenges are kind of enticing me to make something sweet, because wouldn't you know it they both are scrumptious photos of cake.

The yellow polka dot paper I used is from the CTMH Magic paper pack and I also used CTMH ribbon, watercolors, embossing folder, shimmer trim and gold paper.  The stamps of course as I mentioned are Verve.  The doilies and embellishments are from my quite aged stash.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #365 & Cupcake Inspirations #371

Ok, I admit I cheated a LOT on my first card - lol.  I just used some velum stickers that I've had for years on this pretty CTMH Fundamentals paper.  I did however strategically place some of them over the edge and trim them off so they would be placed the same as if I had stamped them off the page.

Here's what I made for this week's challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches #365.  The second one I'm also entering over at Cupcake Inspirations #371

I hope you head on over and check out what our creative Design Team members have for you this week and also play along.  Our challenge is sponsored by Lacy Sunshine.  Lacy Sunshine is a sweet little digi shop.  The randomly drawn winner will get 3 digi stamps of their choice.

Color Throwdown # 405 and Freshly Made Sketches # 249

Ahhh sweet therapy, as my dear DEAR friends back in Arizona would call it.  I had so much fun this evening creating this card.  It has been a while since I've played along over at Color Throwdown and I think even longer since I have at Freshly Made Sketches - I miss them!

For some reason I decided to set my stopwatch on my iPad when I started this card.  It took me 26 minutes from point a. hhhhmmmm what should I do, to - b. completion.  It was so enjoyable that it felt like only 5 minutes.  I just got this new Close to My Heart set and paper, it was still sitting on my desk so it all felt like it just jumped out on the card for me lol.

Heres what I used:

Plus enamel dots, white daisy card stock and ribbon scrap from my stash.

If you would like to place an order on my site I'll be you're best friend...lol.  No really. . . I will :o)

You will also receive a free paper pack of 25 6 x 6 sheets of assorted patterned paper.

Tuesday Morning Sketches # 363

Whew!  Are you as done as I am with running like a chicken ---ick well you know the rest of the saying.  Anyway I really had to rush this card because as I write this I need to get up in less than 6 hours to catch a shuttle to the airport in the morning. Maybe for some people that's enough sleep but I don't do well on so little plus I always have a hard time falling asleep when I have to get up so early.

This was a fun, fun, fun, easy sketch by Jesse over at Tuesday Morning Sketches # 363 this week.  I certainly could have gone wild with it of it weren't for the fact that I just don't have time to.

Our sponsor is Craftin Desert Divas they have some wonderful images but I just haven't had my act together lately to get things picked out enough ahead of time.

Thanks so much for stopping by - and please check out what our other fab design team members have created AND play along!
