February CTMH Pages for March Photos

This is the layout my workshops are doing this month.  I love accenting the For Always papers with different colors.  Here it is accented with Sweet Leaf.

I used this months Stamp of the Month for one and the set from the For Always Card Workshop on the Go for another.

CTD230, Freshly Made Sketches 73 & H2H Tag!

I can't remember for sure but this may be a first for me - combining 3 challenges in one.  First I visited the CTMH Heart 2 Heart Tag Challenge and LOVED the card Tamytha Jenkins made (the entire design team did a great job!) so of course I lifted it.  My card doesn't hold a candle to hers but I knew it would be a suitable entry for Freshly Made Sketches 73.  Next I visited Color Throwdown CTD230, and thought wow I think I can make those colors work for the single serve sample I picked up for free at Starbuck's the other day. It's pretty simple...

Close to My Heart Avonlea Paper Packet

Wow, it's time for me to get caught up!  Here are the layouts from my December & January workshops. We always make a layout that works well for the next month, so in December we made pages for January photos and in January for February photos.  Of course there's lots of other subjects to use them for.

Avonlea was used for the first layout and La Belle Vie for the second.  You really need to snatch up the CTMH papers when  you want them because they don't always last which was the case with La Belle Vie -it's all gone :(  Avonlea is still available in the latest catalog.

I'm posting the La Belle Vie primarily for my ladies to refer to in case they didn't make it to class. It is a great sketch and I love the envelope and tag, it is cut with the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge

Mass production...CAS(E) Sketch

Sunday's blustery day and my matching mood were the reason that I just decided to play so much.  This is definitely a record for me....I participated in 5 challenges.  The CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #13 was the last one I did and I liked it so much that I got on a roll and made 6 cards--so fun and I was in a much better mood after too!  I highly recommend mass producing while your at it if you make something simple AND nice, it's easy to just cut out a few at a time of various papers.

First I made the baby boy and girl cards because I had none.

Then I wanted to use this vibrant Cotton Candy patterned paper and thought it would go well with the cute sticker tape that I've had around for sheesh, at least a year probably two.

Then I couldn't resist this pattern it is the opposite side of the Sweet Leaf pattern.  Have I mentioned that Chantilly is my new all time favorite paper? "Treasured Friends" as well as "Many Thanks" below is from the zip strip off of one of the papers.

Surprisingly this beautiful pattern is the other side of the vibrant Cotton Candy paper on the "greetings" card above.

Last but certainly not least, I need a few guy cards in my stash, plus I wanted to show that this pretty, very feminine paper kit has great versatility.  True confession: the washi tape was added to the lower part of this to cover a boo boo -- I love that stuff!

All the paper (all from Chantilly kit), stamps and most of the embellishments are from Close to My Heart and available on my site pattir.ctmh.com

Thanks for stopping by!!

P.S.  What blogger doesn't LOVE to receive comments?  I for one do!

CTMH Fabulous You, Retro Sketches #49 and Color Throwdown #227!!

Was originally going to use this stamped image for the challenges in my last post but it just didn't seem to be working for it so, turned out it worked just right for Retro Sketches #49 and Color Throwdown #227!!  Once again you should check out the design team and entrants on those sites for some great ideas.

I absolutely love this stamp set and can hardly wait to use it more.  It has two great sayings, the neat diamond background that I used in my last post and two pretty bird scenes.  It's called Fabulous You and available for just $13.95(us) on my site.

CTMH Chantilly, Play Date Cafe & Freshly Made Sketches

I made this for two challenges; the color combo - PDCC#167 @ Play Date Cafe and the sketch - Freshly Made Sketches #71.  I highly recommend heading over to check out what their incredible design teams have created as well as other players.

I have quite a few cards already to post using my new all time favorite paper pack - Close to My Heart "Chantilly" so you will be seeing it a LOT!!  The tag and the butterfly are cut using the  CTMH Cricut, Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The small butterfly is actually cut out of the tag with satin ribbon behind it but it's hard to tell.  Other than that ribbon, everything I used was Close to My Heart and available on my CTMH site.
